Product Specialist

-Introduction

Through our client-facing brands Metropolitan and Momentum, with Momentum Multiply (our wellness and lifestyle rewards programme), and our other specialist brands, including Guardrisk and Eris Property Group, the group enables business and people from all walks of life to achieve their financial goals and life aspirations.
Role Purpose

To assist the Investo Product Management team in Centurion as a Product Support Specialist. The range of products to work on will encompass our range of savings products. Please note, this is not an actuarial role.
Requirements
- Providing technical product support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure effective resolution of complaints escalated to the product management team.
- Compile information required for actuarial certificates.
- Perform various manual calculations based on product specifications.
- Asist internal stakeholders in terms of various legislations applicable to our products.
- Support the operational support team with special quotations for existing Investo products.
- Review declined risk claims to ensure fair treatment.
- Analyse the impact of compliance findings as well as changes to legislation and then produce business requirements to implement the changes required.
- Ensure that the relevant accurate product information is available on our knowledge base.
- Assist with testing of various calculation tools.
- Identify opportunities to enhance our existing tools.
- Support internal and external stakeholders on our tools which in many cases would require either analysing calculations performed by the tools or performing manual calculations and explaining these
- Using SQL to analyse system data.
- Maintain product training material.
- Review the product knowledge of the learning and development facilitators.
- Identify and report opportunities in our processes and documentation to improve the client experience and profitability of our products.
- Managing own performance and development.
- Ensuring effective and consistent service delivery and support to both internal and external clients in line with the Company Values and Treating Customers Fairly Principles.
