Position: Early Childhood Development Teacher

Location: Meyersdal

Job Summary:
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement a curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/caregivers about their child's development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment
- Attend staff meetings, professional development trainings, and parent-teacher conferences as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and activities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Patience, creativity, and a love for working with children
