**FOOD TECHNOLOGY & QUALITY MANAGER**

Our client, based in **the Cape Wineland area**, is in the **food production industry** and they are looking to hire a **Food Technology and Quality Manager **to** **join their team as soon as possible.

**Overall job description**

**Technical requirements**
- Degree and 10-15 years of experience in Food Science or Food Technology with relevant retail experience.
- Knowledge of high
- and low-risk food processing and cross-flow management.
- Understanding of cold chain management and critical control factors.
- Practical experience in various food preparation stages and processes.
- Knowledge of technical processes: HACCP, GMP, root cause analysis, supply chain, raw materials, allergen, micro, and listeria management.
- Broad industry experience across diverse food products.
- Technical product knowledge including characteristics, raw materials, manufacturing processes, quality, and safety parameters.
- Understanding of environmental management and sustainability.
- Desired competencies: project management, problem-solving, legislative knowledge, teamwork, decision-making, commitment to excellence, and effective communication.

This position is based **on site **and is **full time, Monday-Friday.**

**Salary**: R60 000-R80 000 CTC per month depending on experience
