**PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR | Operations**

**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Production Supervisor’s primary role is to manage their team and resources in such a way that production targets set by the Production Manager are timeously met and exceeded. The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the portioning, bagging and boxing processes and is accountable for ensuring errors and wastage during these processes are minimised.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assigning jobs to team members
- Monitoring performance of team members and providing guidance where needed
- Motivating and encouraging team members to work more efficiently and accurately
- Communicating any issues, concerns, resource needs and progress to Warehouse Manager and Production Manager
- Identifying bottlenecks and reallocating resources to improve production efficiency

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualification & Experience**
- 1 -2 years relevant experience
- Matric or equivalent

**Skills & Competencies**
- Must Have_- Communication
- Time management
- Knowledge of portioning and bagging process
- Basic conversion calculations and arithmetic
- Leadership
- Be organised
- Record keeping
