**Fixed Term employment opportunity**

**Purpose**:

- To lecture Information Technology-related modules, in the faculty on a fixed-term basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum qualifications required**:

- Honours in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Techology or relevant field

**Experience**:

- 1 -2 years or relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Modules to be lectured**:

- Mathematics for Computing
- Mathematics 1A and Mathematics 1B
- Probability and Statistics
- Linear Algebra with Application
- Computer Skills
- Information Systems
- Project Management

**Responsibilities**:

- Lecturing
- General administration
- Setting and marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials
- Quality Assurance
- Management of At-risk students
