**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the butchery department, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage and train butchery staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise inventory management, reduce waste, and increase profitability.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source top-quality products and negotiate favourable terms.
- Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to continuously improve service and product offerings.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Butchery Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the meat industry.
- In-depth knowledge of meat processing, cutting techniques, and butchery operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Certification in food handling and safety (preferred).
