The position of a Workshop / Fleet Manager is available at the Fidelity Security Services regional Office at Pinetown - Westmead Offices.

**Main Job Purpose**
The above position reports to the Regional Executive. The overall purpose of this position is to perform a full Management function and to control a fleet of company vehicles. Asset and fleet management and logístical control is a key function of this role.

**Key areas of responsibility will include**:

- Oversee, control, maintenance and services of 200 + company vehicles.
- Control of mechanical workshop and technical staff.
- Maintain and control fleet register and asset control.
- Investigations and control over vehicle accidents, relevant repairs claim etc.
- Adhere to all requirements as specified in the company transport policies and procedure manual.
- Manage Capex and asset requirements.
- Attending Daily / Weekly meeting with Senior Management.
- Arranging testing of drivers, licences and PDPS.
- Receiving of invoices and ensuring that the necessary authorisation is obtained.
- Manage and maintain the fuel and maintenance budgets for the fleet.
- Management and control of purchases via the procurement policy and service providers compliance.
- Co-ordinate strict control of vehicle services, parts and stock control.
- Ensure service delivery from approved and ad-hoc suppliers.

**Qualifications, experience and other competencies**:

- Grade 12
- At least 3 years’ experience and full knowledge of large fleet vehicle management.
- Working knowledge of the SAP system.
- Proficiency in MS Word.
- Above average Excel proficiency is essential.
- Strong administration and organizational skills.
- Numerical accuracy and high methodical working methods are required.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to liaise professionally with clients and personnel at all levels.
- Ability to work without supervision, under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work extended hours.
- Above average mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Adequate business writing skills
- Good understanding of Roadworthy’s COF’s and traffic fine management.
- Thorough knowledge of Capex procedures.
- Code 8 unendorsed drivers’ licence.
