**Eligibility Criteria**
- A PhD in Social Work
- Areas of research should include but not limited to child protection, vulnerable children, early childhood, social work education.
- Show evidence of previous publications in these areas of research
- Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree within the last five years.
- Preference will be given to South African citizens.
- Grounded in qualitative research methodology.
- Ability to publish at least 2 units in DHET accredited journals.

**APPLICATION**:
Motivation letter, including a 1-2-page outline of relevant expertise and experience
- Full CV including a list of research publications, conference papers and other scholarly output
- Full transcripts of academic record and copy of doctoral degree certificate
- Copy of ID document (or copy of passport in the case of foreign applicants)
