Plennegy: End User Computing Lead

Plennegy (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1955 and is both a trading and holding company with its core business being related to agriculture and property investments. Together with its associated companies, the group develops, produces and distributes seed, as well as supplies farming equipment, fuel and vehicles to the agricultural and retail industries.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Service desk - DSS02
Assist embedded resources with ticket escalation. Tier 2 & 3 ticket management.
Report from Service Desk, together with regular review with OPS Manager
Ensure tickets are closed within SLA. Report from Service Desk. Use this Jira service desk guide.
Keep number of open tickets to below 5 Review with Group IT Operations Manager for assistance with tickets. Jira report and stat will be used.
Keep number of pending tickets to below 3
Advise Group IT Operations Manager on any long-term tickets that need to be moved to projects.
Review with Group IT Operations Manager for assistance with tickets. Jira report and stats will be used.
User Setups
Process HR Tickets for New + Change + Termination of staff.
Jira HR ticket will be reviewed together with Monthly reports.
Assist with Laptop and User setups.
Assist Technicians when required to complete user setups
Complete Laptop and User setups. Jira HR ticket will be reviewed
Additional duties or Responsibilities
Project work as requested by IT Manager / OPS Manager
Completed as per Smartsheet projects. Any ADHOC work can be listed on Smartsheet's
Operations management - DSS01
Assist Network Administrator / IT Operations Manager with first line checks for network management
Assist Network Administrator / IT Operations Manager to diagnose any outages and resolve where possible, Network Administrator to open tickets for any work requested.
Participation in network projects
Feedback from Operations Manager and Network Administrator.
Escalate network outages to Network Administrator.
Rapid escalation of tickets when outages are outside of the area of responsibility. Working with Network Administrator. Required training

**Experience**:
End User Computing - 3-5 years (Essential)
