About Latest Sightings:
We're a unique platform dedicated to sharing real-time alerts of wildlife sightings in the Kruger National Park, Pilanesberg, and other game reserves.

We have created a vibrant community of wildlife enthusiasts and have established one of the biggest viral wildlife sighting platforms in the world.

The Role:
We are on the lookout for a skilled and passionate storyteller and media strategist to join our team. Your role will be important in maintaining and building upon our blog-type content. You will be responsible for releasing multiple posts a day, finding viral content in our archive, and analytics analysis.

General:
1.⁠ ⁠ Be competent in using WordPress to create new pages, posts, and other changes as they arise.

2.⁠ ⁠ Be technologically literate:
A. Typing and keyboard shortcuts.

B. General knowledge of tech.

3. Understand algorithms and have the ability to determine what type of content is working at a particular point in time.

4. Have great Photoshop and editing skills.

5. You can tell a story from still photos.

6. Have the ability to analyze content results to improve strategies and performance.

7. Basic understanding of maths and data analytics.

8. Strong love for writing and storytelling.

Wildlife:
1.⁠ ⁠Be able to naturally spot viral content

2.⁠ ⁠Be excited about wildlife and have some knowledge about nature reserves

**Experience**:

- ⁠ ⁠Writing
- ⁠ ⁠WordPress
- ⁠ ⁠Blog Management
- ⁠ ⁠Editing Skills
- ⁠ ⁠Content Performance Analysis
- ⁠ Mathematical thinking
- ⁠ Content writing: 1 year (preferred)
- ⁠ Media editing: 1 year (preferred)

Hours and Location:

- ⁠ ⁠Office-based (non-remote) work in Parktown North, Johannesburg, 2193
- ⁠ ⁠Hours will be from 08:00 to 17:00, five days a week

Qualifications:

- ⁠ ⁠A degree will be beneficial

Expected Start Date:

- ⁠ ⁠Immediately or as soon as possible would be preferable

Parktown, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Note: Applicants will be asked to complete a set of tasks as part of the interview process.

Pay: R15 000,00 per month
