As a TSG Representative you'll be the person our customers from across Africa turn to for technical problem solving. You'll leverage your in-depth knowledge of our products, fabrication methods and on-site support experience to help ESCO's customers with their toughest technical challenges. You'll also use your project management skills to manage both local and international fabrication projects, collaborating with our global engineering teams as the project owner, coordinating between sales, fabrication facilities, and designers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Focus Area: On-site customer technical support for Weir ESCO products in Africa region, specifically:
GET related issues, fault finding, reporting and solution implementation.
Weir ESCO bucket and lip commissioning.
Problem resolution and warranty claims, immediate customer assistance, detailing of scope-of-work, coordination of repair and quality inspection thereof.
- Focus Area: Project Management and quality inspection of bucket and lip fabrications and fabrication facility sites, local and international.
- Focus Area: Liaison with international engineering team and TSG colleagues on customer issues, warranties and proposed product optimisations.
- Focus Area: Providing technical support to the sales team on ESCO products.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Qualified Technical Tradesperson: Boilermaker / Welder / Pipe Fitter / Diesel Mechanic; or
- Quality Control related education with experience in heavy fabrications.
- 5 years in a fabrication and / or mining environment conducting and overseeing quality inspections.
