**Job Summary**: Do you see yourself managing the full security function for one of the largest manufacturing plants in sub-Saharan Africa?

Our client, a giant in the Real Estate Services Industry has recently expanded into Africa, but predominantly operates in South Africa providing services such as Facilities, Utility, Brand and Precinct Management for Landlords and Tenants. They are seeking a Security Manager to take charge of all aspects of a large, high-risk manufacturing site. With a guard compliment of more than 50 at any one time and a plant that employs some 4500 staff members, this position requires a safety expert to secure against both external and internal threats. With 3 vehicles, shift managers and strong administrative support on site, your role will be a hands-on one which allow the client to operate with confidence that their production line is able to deliver on their significant orders.

The key functions will include being able to identify and stop potential threats before they happen by having eyes and ears within key areas of the plant and it's divisions. You will coordinate and execute sting operations, conduct detailed and in-depth investigations and maintain good working relationships with the client’s representatives.

To be considered for this role you will need at least 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role, at least 2 years’ experience in a management position, experience working with large sites and managing large teams, a valid driver’s license and a relevant certification related to facilities management and/or security.
