Traffic & Print Production Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving smaller briefs, checking, planning and scheduling with the direction from the Traffic and Production Manager.
- Taking directive from the Traffic and Production Manager with all Creative Studio and Print Production requirements and fulfilling the role in the case of her Absence (Out of Office or on leave).
- Scheduling Creative briefing sessions with Brand Managers.
- Updating the ASANA board with status updates of all Creative and Print Production work.
- Assisting with processing, checking approved quotes received to brief and processing for approval via the Brand Manager, so to request purchase order requests and Invoicing for payment.
- Receiving, checking and sending all necessary documents to Finance for all New supplier uploads.
- Assisting with smaller production tasks Independently through the system from Finished Art till Production delivery.
- To be available to go to production houses to collect samples, join meeting etc.
- With the assistance of the Traffic and Production Manager to place orders for both production and repro from approved quotes and proof sign off.
- Keep track and an updated filing systems for easy access for supplier contacts.
- Informing the Traffic and Production Manager of account queries, assisting with problem solving and maintaining a fluid relationship between Flash and our Suppliers.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 3-4 years working experience in Marketing or Printing Industry
- Understanding of various Design and Repro programmes, not mandatory to know how to work it.
- Experience in planning, coordinating and scheduling of Finished Art, Repro and Creative Work through a working system.
- Be able to grasp Project Management tools to use for scheduling Creative Work
- Understanding of Promotional and Print production requirements for quoting & sourcing purposes
- To have a minimum requirement of a Diploma in Print Production or similar skill set
- Understanding & skill set of quoting and Invoicing
