The Marketing and PR Lead will play a crucial role in building our community and executing diverse marketing strategies aimed at raising awareness and generating leads for our events and mentorship programme. This position requires a creative and analytical thinker capable of engaging with global audiences through multiple channels.
Key responsibilities include:
- **Content Creation and Promotion**: Developing engaging and compelling content that resonates with our diverse, global audience across various channels and collateral.
- **Website Management**: Overseeing the company’s website to ensure it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with our marketing goals.
- **Event Representation**: Representing the company at industry events, enhancing our visibility and networking opportunities.
- **Performance Tracking**: Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to inform future strategies.
You will collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to develop and implement campaigns, programs, and initiatives designed to meet business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
**Key responsibilities**:
- Plan and execute campaigns to generate leads for sponsorships and delegate participation for our Summits, Awards, LinkedIn live events and Mentoring programme.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create integrated marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with our wide and global network of industry thought-leaders, encouraging guest blogging.
- Ensure all visuals adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Manage and grow our presence on LinkedIn and Instagram. Develop and schedule posts, engage with followers.
- Create an annual PR plan. Build rapport with media contacts to help support Summit and Awards launch and promote our mission to empower women in the automotive sector.
- Manage and maintain the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Network and build relationships to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
- Monitor, track, and report on the performance of all marketing initiatives. Use data analytics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
**Experience and Skills**:
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful lead generation campaigns.
- Strong writing skills to create engaging and persuasive content for various channels.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva to create visually appealing marketing materials and social media assets
- Excellent organisational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with sales, operations, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Enthusiasm for our mission to empower women in the automotive sector.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: R700 000,00 - R870 000,00 per year
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
