**Vacancy: Inventory Counters (X2)**

**1. Role Description**:

- A large group of companies within the FMCG industry, is looking for an Inventory Auditor (Stock Controller) for their office situated in Durban.
- Focused on wholesale and retail food, grocery and related products, the business comprises of well-established leading and rapidly growing market positions.

**2. Requirements**:

- Matric is mandatory and preferably studying towards commercial related tertiary education.
- Minimum One (+1) years' experience as stock controller.
- Prior warehouse experience and operational background (FMCG industry) is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Mandatory: comfortable with working on hysters in narrow aisles and high rise operations, able to work in a freezer / chiller environment - during stock count periods.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work outside of normal working hours including, extended hours, and potentially public holidays.
- Vehicle and valid driver’s license advantageous.
- Ability to travel to branch stores.

**3. Duties and responsibilities**:

- Perform inventory counts.
- Verify that accounting records agree to the physical stock on the floor.
- Assess quality of stock.
- Obtain variance reports and agree this to supporting documentation of the counts.
- Documenting work done.
