**In this role you will focus on**:

- Increasing the WCPP’s productivity and efficiency by cultivating the natural talents of each employee.
Identifying training programs that improve the strength of our employees and also monitor employee progress through developed tools, observation and work performance records.
**Minimum Requirements**:

- A recognised and relevant NQF level 7 Degree in Human Resources, Training and Human Development or a related field. _A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage_
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience of working in Learning and Development as well as a Talent Development environment.
- Skills Development Facilitator (advantageous)
- Demonstrated track record in delivering solutions in the functional area/s of Talent Development/ Organisational Effectiveness/ Organisational Development.
- Proven experience in facilitation and understanding skills gaps analysis, skills reporting, e-learning and building new capability
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficient in other MS Suite (i.e. Outlook, Word etc.)
- Understanding and knowledge of SA legislation and knowledge of respective HR policies, procedures and processes
- Be up to-date with skills development in the industry, understanding the desired new capabilities based on digital platforms and the way organisations are transforming.

**Main Responsibilities**:

Demonstrate competence as an advisor and provide thought leadership, share new T&L models, best practices and external benchmarking.
- Work in conjunction with the Senior Officer: Talent & Learning Development in developing and implementing an effective Strategic Plan for L&D and talent initiatives.
- You will work closely with the Senior Officer; Talent Management & Learning Development and jump into learning conversations with various Stakeholders and Line Managers to support our employees on their learning journey’s.
- Ensure that skills development delivery addresses current and future skills requirements through effective facilitation of competency-based training need analyses, workplace skills plan compilation, selection and supervision of facilitators and training service providers.
- Assist in the identification of high potential talent and address development needs; partner with line managers to ensure validation of HiPo’s
- Ensure that all programs (i.e. Performance Management, Training & Development etc.) are aligned with the WCPP’s People strategy by regularly reviewing/validating the program objectives.
- Implement our Graduate Development Program and have oversight on statutory reporting.
- Ensure Skills Development requirements are met and collaborate with line managers on talent development.
- Take ownership of the training calendar/ plan for the year and assist in initiating these planned sessions.
- Co-ordinate competency assessments and review of induction/onboarding programmes.
- Analyse learning and development evaluations and general feedback to drive continuous improvements to programmes and changes to service provides.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
**Talent & Learning Development and Capability Building**
- Be visible and contribute positively to the Culture.
- Ensure alignment with the Talent & Learning function to ensure program/initiative offering meets the development needs of differentiated talent segments.
- Drive initiatives designed to build talent capabilities across the organisation.
- Adapt and learn to changing and competing work demands and environments by remaining agile, innovative and resilient.
**Reporting and Statistics**:

- Establish reporting schedules and frameworks; create reports to provide updates according to established timelines; ensure the integrity of the data is upheld with the HR data.
- Ensure appropriate consolidation, reporting and knowledge management processes are maintained to facilitate the effective reporting of program data to the Manager: People Development and the organisation.
- Provide input into monthly Talent & Learning reporting and overall WCPP reporting process.
- Provide oversight of the compilation of the Annual Training Report (ATR) and reporting on the Workplace
