We have an incredible new, hybrid opportunity for a forward-thinking, mid-senior Digital Art Director to join either the Cape Town or Johannesburg team at a renowned global agency group. You have the burning desire to create content that leads to good business performance. If you are passionate about social first ideas, have a good eye for detail, consider yourself very up to date on the latest social trends, can make your fabulous ideas come to life, and are comfortable designing for social and digital formats, then this is the position for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the creative team/traffic manager/production manager are aligned throughout projects to meet deadlines
- You’ll be responsible for overcoming any difficulties and finding solutions during the project while keeping your Creative Director informed throughout
- Build strong relationships and foster good team spirit with both clients and members of the agency to bring great ideas and creative work to life
- Have a solution-focused attitude
- Be responsible for ensuring your work is produced efficiently and on time.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a digital art director (from agency, inhouse or design studio)
- Comfortable and confident in their skills with CC Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Fully comfortable with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Keynote will go down well
- Good art direction for interesting formats and layouts
- Be able to support art direction with motion design in After Effects (bonus but not essential)
- An enthusiastic team player that is curious and keen to grow & learn
- Flexible and open to working in an agile environment, hands-on
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- An innovative approach to the ways in which advertising is executed because you’ll be talking to some global hotshots.
