Jonsson Workwear boasts its own in-house Marketing team responsible for creating and delivering inspiring, meaningful, and informative content around our iconic brand.

The Copywriter is responsible telling inspiring stories through conceptualising and crafting tailor-made copy for a variety of mediums, including, but not limited to, print, digital, TV, radio, in-store, and web content.

**The main responsibilities of the role include**:

- Create unique advertising copy for publication, broadcast, or internet media (Web Content, Press Releases, Articles, Advertising Copy, Titles, etc.).
- Ensure a consistent tone of voice and strong brand message is communicated through inspiring, authentic copy, articles, bulletins, and content for all marketing and promotional platforms both for internal and external audiences.
- Edit and refresh existing copy where necessary.
- Provide support to the wider Marketing team to ensure efficient and smooth delivery of social media content, and products are creatively and timeously marketed on social media platforms.
- Generating new ideas to tell the Jonsson story, to ensure brand success and ensure a consistent brand presence is maintained across all platforms.
- Contribute towards strategic marketing plans.

**The experience we’re looking for**:

- Qualification in English/Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or any other communications related field.
- Experience as a copywriter or journalist in a Public Relations/Corporate Communications/Media/ Advertising environment.
- Someone who has a strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing and reputation management.
- Fluency in any other South African language is advantageous.
