Job overview:
My client, a leading manufacturer of baking, catering and hot foods equipment is looking for a Branch Manager that will be responsible for co-ordinating and overseeing all branch operations, including staff, training and supervision. The Branch Manager is further responsible for the design and implementation of the appropriate company strategies to increase efficiencies (productivity) and effectiveness (performance) levels in order to achieve the branch’s objectives.

Main responsibilities:

- Initiate branch changes to improve the business effectiveness.
- Analyse sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes for sufficient stock planning.
- Understanding forthcoming customer initiatives. Be customer driven.
- Actively develops and manages all facets of the branch.
- Continuously analyse stock holding per department to ensure no stock shortage. Monthly stock take is the responsibility of the branch manager.
- Oversee stock availability, quality, and forecasts of stock requirements throughout the season.
- Preparing an annual “branch” budget together with Sales Director.
- Directs, through subordinate managers and staff, the ongoing operations and/development of the retail operations within the scope of the company’s mission and vision.
- Work closely with different branches.
- Valid Customer credit notes to be signed off with Sales director.
- Weekly staff meetings
- Monitoring of financial transactions and supplying the correct information to the correct person in time
- Overseeing office equipment and depot maintenance
- Building and maintain strategic ties with suppliers.
- Provides guidance, measurement and consultation to all branch employees in order to guarantee customer satisfaction

**Requirements**:

- Matric, Tertiary qualification in Management or similar.
- Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience in managing a branch with an accounting background.
- The ability to negotiate at all levels.
- Discipline, accurate and organised.
- Computer literacy essential.
- Valid driver’s license

**Salary**: Market related
