A Day in the Life
As an Advanced Research Intern at L’Oréal R&I, you will be contributing to cutting-edge research projects, working alongside a team of experienced scientists at our Woodmead R&I HUB. Reporting to the Advanced Research Manager, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, while developing your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
- Research Project Involvement: Contribute actively to ongoing research projects, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting your findings.
- Method Development & Validation: Assist in developing and validating new research methodologies, exploring innovative approaches to scientific challenges.
- Literature Review & Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific literature, conducting comprehensive reviews and providing insightful summaries to the research team.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with fellow researchers, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a positive team environment. Present your research findings clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Innovation & Problem-Solving: Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, exploring creative solutions to research challenges and contributing to the development of innovative beauty products and technologies.

- Collaboration & Communication: L'Oréal thrives on collaboration, and this role requires excellent teamwork skills. You should be comfortable working effectively within a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and other professionals, contributing constructively to group projects and discussions. Clear and concise communication, both written and oral, is crucial for conveying research findings, presenting project updates, and participating in scientific discourse. We value the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences, from highly technical discussions with colleagues to more general explanations for non-scientific stakeholders.
