Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Print Operator with 2-3 years of experience in the printing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for operating printing equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining workflow efficiency. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that customer orders are completed accurately and on time. Additionally you are willing to help with other retail related tasks should company capacity or client needs shift to our workspace and coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain Print Station, design, print and finishing.
- Set up and adjust printing equipment to meet specifications and production needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printing machines and materials.
- Perform quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and colour consitancy.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
- Monitor inventory of print supplies and reorder when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.
- Assist management with retail-related tasks.

Qualifications:

- 2-3 years of experience as a Print Operator (or similar role) in a commercial printing Environment.
- Strong knowledge of printing equipment and software (Coral Draw, Adobe, Xerox).
- Experience with different printing techniques and stocks.
- Ability to read and understand job specifications and production schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a printing environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
