Buyer - Chemical Manufacturing Company - Caprichem

About Us:
A well-established Chemical Manufacturing company based in Blackheath, Cape Town is in need of a Buyer.

**Requirements**:

- Procurement and Supply Degree/Diploma.
- **Very strong sourcing and negotiation skills**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a buyer within a medium/large sized company preferably manufacturing
- Working knowledge for MS Office Programs
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Driver’s License

Import and Export Experience will be a huge advantage.

Work Specifications:

- Providing effective, fair and competitive procurement
- Ensuring that all raw materials and other goods are timeously ordered
- Follow up on all orders that are outside negotiated lead-time and take corrective action
- Ensuring effective Sourcing and Selection of Vendor to achieve optimum total cost, quality and service solutions in terms of the company’s requirements.
- Constant liaising with suppliers regarding agreed delivery dates / pricing and quality
- Creation and Capturing of Purchase Requisitions
- Ability to follow a proactive approach to problems
- Maintain accurate filing systems
- Customer service orientated
- Participate in Stock Take once a month

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackheath, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
