We are currently assisting a well-established SMME asset finance business, in securing a skilled Credit Analyst with 2-4 years relevant experience within a similar space. The main purpose of this role will be assessing company credit risk, putting together motivational credit papers for the credit committee.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare credit proposals with recommendations and motivations for approval or denial of credit.
- Analyse industry trends and macroeconomic factors to assess credit risk.
- Communicate with clients and conduct on-site visits to gather additional information as needed.
- Assist with deal structuring and accurate preparation of finance approvals for clients.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 experience in assessing company credit risk ideally within the South African SMME space.
- Strong motivational skills and awareness of micro and macro-economic factors that may influence the lending decision making process.
- Strong eye for detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of asset finance would be highly advantageous.
