**Job Purpose**
- To facilitate and coordinate the implementation; ongoing execution and continued enhancement of effective and efficient risk management practices within Nedbank to make us world class at managing risk and so achieve our strategic objectives.**Responsibilities**:

- Provide first-line-of defence support to help business proactively identify risk, effectively manage risk, and implement mitigant controls.
- Develop close relationship with second and third lines of defence and provide support to manage engagements and interactions with business.
- Support businesses to proactively manage reporting and input into risk processes and committees
- This includes identifying potential risks, guiding strategy formulation, and implementing the Operational Risk. Management Framework (ORMF) and the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) for efficiency, effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Any emerging problems should be addressed by formulating and implementing a problem recognition and solving process in accordance with OMRF and EMRF.
- Ensure establishment of effective enterprise risk management committees by implementing processes that comply with the ERMF requirements and the Enterprise Risk Committee (ERCO) charter.
- Establish executive-level credibility by managing clients and accessing the business know-how.
- Maximise profit by managing operational losses within thresholds.
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
- Preferred Qualification- Relevant Masters Qualification- Minimum Experience Level- 5 years + relevant experience- 5 years in banking or financial services industry- 5 years in banking or**Technical / Professional Knowledge**
