Job description:
**Job Summary**

As a **Bartender** you must be able to mix and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages based on customer’s request and following the Menu recipes. He is expected to decorate drinks and must be well presented when served to the customers. The Bartender’s duties include verifying and identification of the customers’ ages. The Bartender’s responsibility is to clean glasses and bar utensils. He must be able to do Bar stock counts opening and closing stocks on daily basis. Observing and following the Health and Safety Rules, the Bartender is expected to keep the Bar area clean and neat at all times.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Doing prep and cut fruits from making and decorating cocktails
- Make sure the bar area is clean and neatly setup
- Take beverage orders from waiters or customers
- Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the recipes given
- Do daily stock counts
- Keep bar utensils clean always

**Skills and Abilities**
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Drinks knowledge (wines and cocktails)

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Educational Level: Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Certificate in Hospitality (Added advantage)
- Minimum of +/- 3 years’ experience working as a Bartender
