**Job Advert**:
Ackermans is in search for a **Systems Trainer** to join our dynamic,energetic and resilient Central Buying team for a fixed term period.

This position will provide systems training and support to internal and external stakeholders in line with the Ackermans Buying Strategy, Critical Path, and system implementation.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
- A relevant degree/qualification in Fashion,Textile Design/Clothing Production/Product Development/Merchandising ,or a related field

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
**Knowledge required**:

- Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle with regards to Buying
- Knowledge of buying principles and strategies
- Integral understanding of the Clothing retail environment, buying and quality processes
- Understanding and exposure to Buying systems

**Skills required**:

- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) at all levels within the company
- Merchant skills & a sound commercial mentality
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional planning, organizing & time management skills
- Networking skills & the ability to be resourceful
- Building effective relationships and providing support to System users
- The ability to be assertive
- The ability to support and implement change through training users
- The ability to write and script training material
- The ability to work independently, as well as be a team player

**Experience required**:

- 3 years Buying experience within a retail clothing environment
- Exposure to training and/or facilitation will be advantageous.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Responsible for**:

- Understand the business requirement and how the system enables the business process, through testing changes to the system.
- Ensure end to end user acceptance testing prior to roll-out
- Testing implementation of input changes to ensure the system
- To create training material that is easy to follow and understood by stakeholders
- To facilitate system training to all internal and external Users, using various training platforms
- Support the users through this change in process/system
- Measuring success of system enhancements
- Provide continuous support to internal and external stakeholders
