Investment Operations Specialist

Join an organisation who offers a niche of Transfer Agency administration services for Unit Trust, Retirement, Life and LISP products. The company is looking for a Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible for:
The maintenance and update of prices on system and all related activities.
The verification & confirmation of operational trade transactions in line with the relevant Service Level Agreements.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
Ensuring accurate execution and authorization of Creations & Liquidations within the Unit Trust/LISP space.
Ensuring in-depth verification of trades and creations & liquidations are performed before execution thereof.
Ensuring daily pricing of funds is verified and executed, aligned with the relevant Service Level Agreements.
Execution of daily End of Day batches.
Ensure that trade transactions processed via Finswitch has been actioned in accordance with our operational processes.
Handling of all investigations and queries relating to the finswitch, pricing and creations & liquidation processes.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Pro-actively identify and manage operational risks.
Investigate and resolve client and internal queries efficiently and on a timely basis.
Respond in a professional, timely and empathetic manner to both written and telephonic enquiries from internal and external clients.
Supporting the management and coordination of team deliverables relating to projects and new client take on.
Ensure process documents are maintained and up to date.
Assist the Operational area with transactional processing.
Assist with external Audit requirements.
Assist the Client Services team with technical fixes.
Actively participating in UAT Testing, if required.
Subject matter expert on all pricing, creations & liquidations, Finswitch and operational processes.

**Ideal Experience**:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Finance, Commerce, Investments)
A minimum of 3 years LISP experience with strong operational knowledge in the Unit Trust product space will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the applicable LISP and CIS legislative environment is essential.
Assist with the implementation of changes to existing products and processes as well as new products.
Knowledge of Offshore products would be advantageous.
Good understanding of Finswitch liability system.
Good understanding of trade cycles.
Good understanding of the pricing cycles.
