Social Impact Ambassador will be responsible for all of Marsh's CSI initiatives.

**Sandton office based**

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate implementation of all Marsh SA Social Impact projects including Boost a School
- Create and promote volunteer activities at the office-level that are aligned with Marsh McLennan and Marsh Cares’ strategy.
- In partnership with other local volunteering leaders (namely SI Ambassador, Mercer Cares, Guy Carpenter Cares and Oliver Wyman for Society contacts) assist in building an annual plan and calendar of social impact events.
- Engage with local Marsh Cares Executive Sponsor through regular meetings and communications to discuss direct request and provide updates.
- Organize and promote volunteering opportunities with our global nonprofit partners.
- Communicate key global programs and initiatives including Global Volunteer Month, Matching Gifts and Volunteer Rewards Program.
- Ensure that all events, activities and hours are entered on the Social Impact platform.
- Share key progress, stories and photos with Global Program Manager, on our Marsh Cares chatter group.
- Ensure compliance with acts / regulations relating to Socio-Economic Development.
- Working with Marsh and Marsh McLennan Social Impact leaders overseas offices.

**Experience, qualifications and job knowledge**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Corporate Social Responsibility i.e. community development or social development project.
- Diploma or Certification in project management an advantage
- Strong research skills and computer skills (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Experience managing conception, development and distribution of newsletters.
- Ability to project manage, work with multiple colleagues
- NGOs and Government school relationship an advantage
- Fluent in English
