Howden MEA Projects is looking for an experienced QC Inspector to effectively monitor quality standard compliance for Howden Projects, across all project sites.

**_ What Will You Do?_**
- Conduct QC audits according to schedule and compile QC audit report (audit and report accurate, on time and according to procedure).- Ensure Calibration Status of all measuring & Test equipment is maintained.- Supplier inspections:
- Undertake surveillances, audits, dimensional, visual & welding inspections & report on conformance to Project engineers.- Authorize the release of items to site in order to indicate quality conformance- Initiate, follow up & close out of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) on products found to be non-compliant- Verify & ensure Suppliers are working in accordance with the Latest copies of Howden- Projects purchase Specifications& Procedures.- Provide assistance to in house inspections when required- Expedite progress on additional Orders at suppliers during inspections.- SOX compliance - Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley**_Your Experience Should Be _**
- Grade 12- Technical/Artisan knowledge gained as boilermaker/welder/fitter and turner having sufficientexperience to manufacture structural steel and plate work to drawings (5 years’ experience as an artisan)- Ability to read & interpret technical drawings & specifications. SA IW(South African Institute of Welding) Welding & Fabrications inspector Level 1 & 2 & understanding of Various NDT methods & procedures.- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word- ISO 9000 quality Management systems training Accredited internal audit on quality management system courses- Skilled in environmental and legal issues around QC & Safety**_Our Benefits Package _**
