**INVENTORY MANAGER DURBAN R60 000 PM**

Our client in Tongaat Durban has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Manager

Duties:
Co-ordinate audit verification processes to establish the accuracy of stock counts at external warehouses/ depots.

Verify activities related procedural documentation, checking the accuracy of information prior to authorising actions.

Analyse stock and audit verification outcomes, seeking reasons for variances from opening balances and effecting specific corrective measures.

Reconcile inward/ outward movement of sugar, referring to sales, internal/external stock transfers and production information and comparing with stock balances.

Check and verify reconciled schedules indicating carryover stock figures for the stock cycle period.

Validate claims, check the nature, and check outcomes from specific investigation and referring to activity reports to draw conclusions (approval / reject) in respect of the claim

**Qualifications**:
Finance degree or finance related qualification (qualified CA would be advantageous)

Appropriate work experience in sales preferably in an FMCG environment would be

advantageous

A strong financial background with good understanding of warehousing operations

Computer skills/literacy

A valid driver’s license
