**Purpose of the Job**:
To manage the branch, as well as assistant managers; controllers; staff; equipment and stock, so that it functions effectively, customers are satisfied, and overall financial goals are achieved. The objectives include: 1. Sales and profit generation / Budget and target achievement 2. Labour and other legislation compliance / Government legislation and company policy compliance 3. Meet customer expectations / Customer queries/complaints resolution 4. Staff recruitment 5. Staff management to ensure productivity 6. Stock management according to company policy 7. Ensure on-going training and development of all staff members 8. Floor-walk management 9. Promotions and adverts management 10. Report analysis 11. Trading premises maintenance

**Job Objectives**:

**Qualifications**:
Essential - Matric or equivalent Desirable - Retail Diploma**
Experience**:
Desirable - 3-5 Years experience in Food Retail environment**
Knowledge and Skills**:
Desirable - Product Knowledge - knowledge of Branch Systems - Knowledge of Stock Management - knowledge of Branch reports - Financial Management - Sales**
