**VACANCY**

**Electrician with Drivers License and PDP**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures that electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently across all facilities. The Electrician will ensure that electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently, troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, and collaborate with other team members to ensure effective operation.

**Duties**:
❑ Attend clients site briefings and meetings

❑ Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints

❑ Effective installation, repairs, and maintenance of LV and MV plant and equipment

❑ Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems

❑ Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, switchgears, mini-substations, traffic signals and traffic lights

❑ Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices

❑ Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools

❑ Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Codes

❑ Be able to produce Certificates of Compliance (CoC) for new installations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

❑ Sign off on all completed work as per job card created and signed off by Client for approval

❑ Submit daily report writing to the Project Coordinator

❑ Conduct risk assessments for each job

❑ Understanding and implementation of basic Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) practices

❑ Maintain a tool register and ensure company equipment is in good working condition.

**REQUIREMENTS**

❑ Electrical Engineering N6 (minimum)

❑ Electrical Engineering Trade Test

❑ Wireman's License

❑ Four Years’ Experience as an Electrician (minimum)

❑ Valid Driver's License (minimum Code 10) and a Professional Driver's Permit (PDP)

❑ Ability to drive and operate a Crane Truck

❑ Ability to drive and operate Cherry Picker
