**JOB SUMMARY**

As the POD Clerk you are responsible for ensuring that all dispatches are executed promptly and efficiently in line with customer requirements and to ensure that all goods received by customers are in accordance with quantities as specified on delivery notes and in line with laid down quality parameters.

All Westside Trading’s Work Instructions (WI), policies and procedures relevant to this job function must be adhered to, always. Your Job description is not limited to the responsibilities below and you will be required to perform other reasonable tasks and assume other reasonable responsibilities in line with your position.

**MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS**

**1.** Ensures that a fully completed and signed POD is received for all goods delivered and reports outstanding POD’s to Warehouse Manager / Supervisor.

**2.** Verification of information (picking slips/delivery notes/pictures)

**3.** Ensure all stock movements are accounted for appropriately.

**4.** Ensure compliance with all stock processes in line with the WST Work Instructions.

**5.** Conducting regular audit’s to ensure the efficiency and compliance of the receiving/dispatch process.

**6.** Coordinate that documents are submitted by drivers within the defined standards and that all documents are controlled accordingly for reconciliation and filing purposes.

**7.** Control & store documents in efficiently and accordingly.

**8.** Ensure deviations are recorded accurately while utilizing the standardized format such that resolution is possible**.**

**9.** A Spreadsheet to be kept for all Processed Manuals/IFT’s that’s Dispatched.

**10.** Ensure that Manuals/IFT’s register is updated Daily.

**11.** Reason to be given if manuals were process later than the 12-hour period**.**

**12.** Ensure all customer POD requirements are met and maintain a missing and unsigned register for any non-compliance.

**13.** Monthly stationery orders, including toners for all printer onsite.

**14.** Assist with Ad hoc duties.

**Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience**:

- Matric (Minimum)
- Relevant certificates, Diploma/ Degree (Advantageous).
- Driver’s License (Advantageous)
- 2 - 3 years relevant receiving/dispatch experience (proven)

**Skills and Inherent Requirements**
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong admin ability.
- Extensive systems knowledge (SAP).
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with High sense of urgency.
- Warehouse processes and understanding of inter-relationships between processes.
- Highly developed attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good Planning and Organizational Skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parow, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
