Senior Bim Modeller

**AECOM** is seeking a **Senior BIM Modeller - Structures** to be based in South Africa's Enterprise Capabilities office in **Cape Town**. This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. Grow here.**- Experience in Autodesk Revit Software (MEP and Structures) and Autodesk Civil 3D to model and produce drawings with limited supervision.- Prepare BIM models and deliverables to ensure they meet Client requirements, Industry Standards and project BIM Execution Plan.- Checks the completeness & accuracy of work before review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member.- Support work, related to projects in the department, as directed by the Team Leader.- Follow coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other coordination software and supports the team through the delivery phase.- Assist with the management and coordination of all in-coming and out-going model and drawing information.- Manages projects in BIM360.- Organizes own work to achieve set deadlines.- Keeps abreast of the latest software/ techniques to increase productivity.- Modelling of below ground services in Revit, such as conduits, pipes and chambers.

**Qualifications**- Ability to fulfil all the above duties and responsibilities.- Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, processes, and general approaches- Knowledge to set up the configuration and administration of projects for respective discipline in Revit and AutoCAD- Script writing to develop modelling of underground services in Revit.- Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, MEP Revit and Structures Revit, processes, and general approaches, modelling of underground services in Revit.- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, Navisworks, presentation software and working on projects in a BIM environment.- Develops BIM content based on BIM modelling standards and as outlined in BEP.- Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant Revit modelling.- BIM Qualification / Diploma.- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills- Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction.- Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills- Good risk management skills- Good planning and organizational skills- Attention to detail.
