**Primary purpose of the job**

To perform general electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance as well as fault finding maintenance on industrial robots,

**Key Performance Areas**

Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met

Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant works instruction

Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data.

Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times

Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement

Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions

**Knowledge required**

Technical techniques

Fault finding and Robots repair and maintenance

Manufacturing processes

Basic understanding of Quality Systems

Fault finding and maintenance of presses

**Skills Required**:
Read electronic drawings

Problem Solving Communication

**Minimum Qualifications/Experience required**

Grade12. Qualified Electrician / Millwright

Min. 5 years experience as a Robot Technician within an automotive environment

Extensive working knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens TIA, S7, Festo and ABB stampmaster

**Salary**: R1.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- East London, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
