**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, government officials, industry associations, and community groups.
- Create and execute public relations campaigns to increase awareness of our company and its initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on messaging, brand positioning, and communications best practices.
- Produce high-quality content for a range of communication channels, including press releases, social media, website, and marketing collateral.
- Plan and execute events, conferences, and speaking engagements to showcase our company and its products and services.
- Monitor media coverage and provide timely responses to inquiries and issues.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Communications and Public Relations in the energy sector
- Sound understanding of the Net Zero COP Narratives, and Africa’s place in it all.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with media relations, crisis management, and event planning.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
