We are seeking to employ dependable Technician to join our company. The technician responsibilities includes analyzing existing electrical systems and making cost-effective improvements, conducting research, designing testing methods, completing quality assurance, inspecting the equipment, running diagnostics, as well as training new hires. You should ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

The person will be required to deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment
Needs to be a self-starter with attention to detail and bring a positive energy to the work environment, with a willingness to excel in their role. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Experience in switchgear maintenance
- Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
- Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
- Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks.
- Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
- Analysing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
- Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.
- Competent Lighting, Small Power Design and Reticulation, UPS, Transformer Installation, Emergency Power System Design, Fire Detection System Design, Public Address System Design, and other Electrical Systems for Building Services.
- Competent with Designs and Construction Management

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- **ORHVS certificate is a MUST (Non-negotiable)**:

- A minimum 5 years’ of experience
- Registered ECSA **(advantageous)**:

- National Diploma (SA/T3) In Electrical Engineering **is a MUST**:

- Minimum Code B (Code 8) Valid Driver's License **is a MUST**:

- Strong client relations
- Problem Solving Skills
