An exciting opportunity exists for an **Assistant Planner **at **THE SPITZ GROUP **working on the **Green Cross and GX&Co. Brands** in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The purpose of the role is to assist the Planners with the management of the quantitative allocation of inventories, as well as balanced stock and product assortment in stores to achieve business KPIs such as turnover, sales budgets, gross profit, cost reductions, and stock turns and closing stock with their departments. The Assistant Planner will also be responsible for supporting the replenishment process and business analysis.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:

- ** Store ranging and Tiering**
- Store profiling & assortment planning
- New Stores opening/Refits-Liaise with Planners regarding opening dates, fixtures, store profile & required stock levels & ensure sufficient correct assortment by brand by-product is planned & monitor store performance & adjust accordingly
- ** Store Liaisons**
- Continuous liaison with the store staff regarding stock requests, movements and feedback
- Conduct regular store visits & produce reports with findings and actions
- ** Business Systems, standards and processes**
- Load styles onto Replenishment and RPL parameters & indicators
- Deletion of models to ensure maximum efficiency within the system
- Replenishment Forecasting-assist Planner with the forecasting of RPL styles
- Ensure prices are loaded onto the system for promotions
- ** Strategy, analysis and financials**
- Post Season Analysis
- Analyse evaluate a range of historical data and past performance trends in the context of the current portfolio strategy
- Continuous in-season sales analysis
- Analyse sales budgets and react to trends, re-projecting figures accordingly
- ** Stock management**
- Distribute & allocate Stock according to assortment plan & current sales performances & trends
- Identify best & worst sellers & manage models accordingly to maximise sell-thru & store performance
- Create & manage STOs between stores
- Generate appropriate size curves to reorder stock & send projected intake to suppliers
- Liaise with warehouse regarding holding & delivery of stock
- Sales activity - assist planner in balancing stock levels by store

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- 3 years’ experience in Footwear or Clothing
- 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Planner

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Finance or General
