East Rand Bulk, an accredited fuel transportation company is currently seeking a Mature, vibrant, and energetic individual to join our team as a Workshop Supervisor.
**Main purpose of this position**:
- To order as required, correct spares or vehicle parts, receive, safely store, and issue thereof. Maintain proper control and accounting of spares/ parts at all-times.
- Assist the manager with ensuring that all fleet meet Company, Oil Companies and Legal Requirements. Entire Fleet must be fit for purpose all the times. Including all documentation, which must be of the highest standards.
- To supervise workshop staff and ensure maximum productivity, attendance, and time off.
- Minimum qualification of matric. (Preferential tertiary in Diesel mechanics or mechanical engineering)
- Must be able to keep good records & working relationships with suppliers and Distributors of essential fuel trucks and tanker parts, service kits and spares.
- Must have good knowledge of Trucks and Fuel Tankers in terms of spares.
- Must Be quick thinking and able to work under pressure.
- Computer literacy is a necessity.
- Must have Forward Planning, organizing, controlling and decision-making skills.
- Experience in the Transport industry and Road Traffic ACT.
- Must have at least 2-4 years minimum experience in a similar position.
**Competencies**:
- Decision making, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to interact well with a diversified team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
- Complete understanding of Logistics and Fuel Transportation.
Any Fuel industries or Logistics Qualifications would be an added Advantage.
