Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Supermarket Assistant to join our team. As a Supermarket Assistant, you will provide excellent customer service, maintain store presentation, and assist with daily operations to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Must be bilingual in Afrikaans and English.

Must be available to start immediately and reside in Centurion

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional customer service Greet customers, answer queries, and respond to customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

2. Maintain store presentation: Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised, including facing shelves, restocking products, and removing unwanted items.

3. Assist with daily operations: Participate in receiving and storing stock, operating the cash register, and performing other tasks as required.

4. Work collaboratively with the team: Support colleagues with tasks and duties, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

5. Maintain high standards of health and safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, and report any hazards or incidents to management.

**Requirements**:
1. Previous retail experience: Demonstrated experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supermarket or similar setting.

2. Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.

3. Basic math skills: Ability to accurately handle cash, operate a cash register, and perform basic calculations.

4. Physical ability: Ability to lift, carry, and move stock, and stand for long periods.

5. Availability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods.

Pay: R6 000,00 per month
