**About the Driver position**

We are seeking a diligent **Driver **to join our team at the **East London, Beacon Bay** branch. You will be required to deliver and collect stock from various areas in East London and in doing so maintain a clean vehicle and adhere to road and traffic laws. You will also be required to follow any other relevant instructions.

Driver responsibilities are:

- Delivery of orders to customers
- Collecting stock from suppliers
- Ensure correct paperwork goes with goods for delivery / collections
- Checking of stock to ensure it is correct before delivery / collection
- Loading and unloading of stock on vehicle with delivery / collection
- Check vehicle on daily basis for cleanliness and or any damages or wear and tear problems
- Ensure vehicle licence is up to date and inform line manager when it is due for renewal
- Ad hoc duties as required in the stores.

Working hours:

- Mon to Thu 08h00-16h45
- Fri 08h00-16h30

Required:

- Minimum of Matric/NQF4
- 2-3y rs previous Working experience in a similar role
- Capable of lifting large heavy objects throughout the day with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Valid unendorsed Code B driver's licence (essential)
- Good verbal communication skills in English and one other official South African language
