- A food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. The Laboratory Technician will carry out the agreed upon experimental plan, including execution, planning, and report writing, develop SOPs, perform repetitive sample analyses, and perform hands-on practical trials. The duties will include, but are not limited to, receiving and preparing samples for analytical testing; executing analytical testing with precision and interpreting results, preparing samples for pilot plant trials as required; assisting with pilot plant trials and report on results as required; assisting with SOP development for lab/product analyses; preparing samples for external testing as required; executing experimental plan for product development on test equipment; reporting on findings and communicating these to the R&D lab manager on all analyses, trials, and project outcomes; researching and evaluating new and current raw materials as required; and maintaining the database on analytical findings.
- Key Requirements:

- National Diploma or BTech in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or Food Science and 1-2 years’ experience.
