Bricklayer

We are currently in search of a couple of dedicated bricklayers to join our construction team in Australia. **Requirements**:

- Laying bricks, concrete blocks, stone and other similar building blocks
- Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and specifications to prepare project layout
- Mixing mortar and grout to the necessary consistencies
- Cutting and shaping bricks and concrete blocks to specified dimensions
- Repairing and maintaining clay bricks, cement blocks/bricks, and related structures
- Ensuring quality of work meets the required standards and specifications
- Operating tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a bricklayer, or 3 years of experience supplemented by 2 years of formal education in the field
- Exceptional skill in laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of building blocks
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to read and understand architectural blueprints and project specifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new techniques, and adhere to industry practices
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, on scaffolding, and in various weather conditions

**Salary**: From R310.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
