**What are we looking for?**
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

- An appropriate academic and professional qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
- At least five years’ experience in a similar position.
- **Must be able to teach FET Phase learners.**:

- Current SACE registration.
- A clear criminal record.

**The responsibilities are**:

- Working together with the executive head and school leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning practice
- Performing the duties of a teacher and phase head
- Promoting a healthy process of reciprocal informal observation of class teaching practices
- Advising and contributing to curriculum development at school
- Coordinating the teaching and learning of the phase
- Setting examination papers, coordinating marking rosters and moderating examinations and assessment processes
- Mentoring other teachers in the phase
- Holding and leading regular departmental meetings and ensuring the keeping of minutes
- Involvement in school activities
- Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
