**Duties & Responsibilities**

Duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:

- To perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed.
- Ensure that all payload on route is safely loaded and that all measures will be taken to ensure no stock losses occur.
- To ensure the company vehicle is maintained and in proper running order.
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and neat at all times.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets and driver health check diligently and correctly.
- To check and sign that all stock being loaded per delivery is correct and corresponds with the pick ticket and delivery note.
- Responsible for fuelling the truck and submitting tickets for purchase of such fuel to the supervisor
- Assist the storeman/ supervisor with inventory as directed
- Attend and successfully complete all necessary staff orientation and training functions.
- Sales, customer service responsibilities, will be required to do sales and deal with customers and identify opportunities
- Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols implemented by the company at all times.
- Report all incidents immediately to the office and complete an Incident Report form timeously.
- Assist the storeman / supervisor with inventory as directed in the store.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

QUALIFICATIONS
Matric certificate (Grade 12)

Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate (Hazchem)
Roughly 5 years driving experience.

Valid Drivers License - Code 10 with PrDP

Sales and dealing with customers experience a plus

**Package & Remuneration**

Market Related

Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
