The purpose of this position is to deliver orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables.
**Minimum Experience and Qualification Required**:
- Grade 12
- 2 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or similar environment
- Must be motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic
- Must be a team player, with a positive attitude
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Ability to maintain a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
**Key Performance Objectives**:
Manage & organizing the pass dockets.
Communicating with Chefs regarding order status.
- Make sure each table docket has a table plan for professional serving of food.
- Set up the pass with napkins to carry out the plates.
- Assisting with bringing meals from the kitchen to the dining room, making sure to deliver them to the right tables.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure food orders are being delivered as quickly as possible.
- Communicate with customers to explain meals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Uphold our high food health and safety standards.
- Assist with preparing tables for service by placing tableware, utensils, napkins, and clearing away used dishes.
- Support other restaurant employees as necessary
- Make sure the back of house is always clean and tidy
- Set up the room service trays as per the SOP
- Clean, polish plates and cutlery for the next setup
- Pack the pass with plates
- Make sure your menu knowledge is on point
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
