Shift Setter

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85%
- Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained below 1.4% of material used
- Setting machines according to the best practices
- Conducting mould and material trials as required
- Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements
- Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and stored
- Ensuring top quality products are produced
- Practicing a high standard of housekeeping and safety
- Assisting with some fabricating in the factory as needed

Experience & Qualification
- N3 (mechanical, electrical or Instrumentation) or higher N qualification essential (trade not required)
- Preference will be for FMCG or Mechanical/Electrical experience
- At least 2 years work experience in a technical or maintenance role essential
- Must be able to work shifts and own transport is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R19,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paarl, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
