- Supervision and scheduling of all production activities (+/- 50 employees).
- Supervision of Engineering/draughting/office staff (5 employees)
- Kickoff meetings for new projects/orders to determine specific job requirements and scheduling.
- Following up daily on work progress, and supplier/subcontractor orders.
- Supervision of daily QC activities in the factory and ad hoc at subcontractors.
- Maintenance of the quality system and supervision of compilation of the data books required for specific projects.
- Supervise and maintain digital production schedules for multiple projects. (A material controller assists with this function).**Inherent Requirements**
- Relevant Qualification preferred but not essential- 8-10 years of experience in production management involving steel fabrication and machining and with all the associated knowledge that is required in a production/manufacturing environment- Strong people management skills**What Qualification**
- Technical mechanical engineering or related
