Extensive hands-on warehouse receiving experience to lead and
coordinate the daily warehouse receiving and housekeeping activities.
As the Receiving Team Leader, you will be responsible for receiving shipments from suppliers and returns from customers, planning where goods received will be put-away, and replenishing picking bins.
Will work closely with the Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities and Duties:
Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
Inspect deliveries to ensure goods received are in accordance with packing lists / invoices.
Unload, count and record the receipt of shipped goods.
Record and report shortages and damages that may occur when receiving shipments from
suppliers or returns from customers.
Plan where goods received will be put-away into specific bin locations.
Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
Maintain bin system within the warehouse.
Maintain FIFO when replenishing stock.
Replenish stock on shelfs from bulk locations.
Stock taking and general control of stock.
Control safety and housekeeping within the warehouse.
Ensure warehouse equipment is in good working order.

**Inherent Requirements**

Matric.
Minimum of 5 years’ senior warehouse receiving experience.
Able to reconcile and work with numbers.
Great attention to detail.
Good communication, organisational and planning skills.
Ability to manage time, work independently and implement processes and procedures.
Team worker.
Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
Counterbalance (Forklift) License Code F1A preferable.
Great attention to detail.
Proficient with SYSPRO and MS Office.
Ability to work on feet for long periods of time.
Good physical condition.

Extensive hands-on warehouse receiving experience to lead and coordinate the daily warehouse receiving and housekeeping activities.
