An established Security Solutions company is wishing to appoint a General Manager - Inland Region.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

- Achieving desired growth and gross profit targets for the region through successfully managing the sales process, pipeline, and people
- Define and develop individual and team sales plans and effectively implement sales structures to be correctly aligned with business strategies and focus on products
- Development of a regional sales force that encompasses the required experience and junior rep development capacity for long-term sustainability and succession
- Ensuring sales personnel are properly trained on products and selling skills, through regular review of needs using available training programmes.
- Prospect new customers to maximize the Company's market share (Business Development)
- Grow the product basket size with existing customers
- Use CRM to effectively manage customer purchase patterns and sales consultants’ activities
- Achieve sales forecasts and budgeted EBIT for the region
- Ensure sales consultants attain sales targets
- Regularly attend customer/sales calls with sales consultants
- Ongoing cycle visits to key customers
- Ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained
- General management of all admin, stock, and branch-related functions
- Ensure all counter sales staff are well trained in the product set
- Ensure debt collection is maintained at an acceptable DSO level
- Monitor Competitor activity
- Attend sales meetings, product promotions, and training sessions when required
- Submit activity reports and forecasts as defined
- Prepare sales forecasts and annual budgets
- Analyze monthly financial statements
- Ensure strong discretionary spend control
- Ensure optimal stock levels are held at all branches
- General reporting and liaising with Head Office and various departments
- Personnel management within the region

Experience and Qualification
- A relevant business management degree
- Proven experience in the security solutions industry
